Hospice volunteers provide a variety of services from staff support, special projects and bereavement to assisting families and providing support for the terminally ill. Responsibilities are assigned to volunteers that are consistent with their skills, availability and interests, accompanied by specialized training and education. There are no set time requirements or restrictions, so volunteering can work around almost any schedule.
